JACKSONVILLE – He’s healthy, happy and very ready.
Trevor Lawrence this week will enter his fifth NFL training camp to prepare for his fifth season as the Jaguars’ starting quarterback. It’s his first season as a father, and his first under Head Coach Liam Coen. This is an important time for Lawrence – and as it approaches, he speaks as positively of his health as he does his new surroundings.
“This is the healthiest I’ve been in a while,” he said.
Lawrence, who underwent season-ending surgery on his left – non-throwing shoulder – in December, joined senior writer John Oehser for the first O-Zone Podcast of 2025 Training Camp. In addition to saying he will be 100 percent when camp begins Wednesday at the Miller Electric Center, he discussed the Jaguars’ new offense, rookie wide receiver/defensive back Travis Hunter and second-year veteran Brian Thomas Jr.
He, too, discussed Coen – who joined the Jaguars in January and who is their third head coach since selecting Lawrence No. 1 in the 2021 NFL Draft
