HBO has dropped the trailer for Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the Buffalo Bills, the docuseries that will take viewers behind the scenes of the NFL‘s AFC East team.

The five-part NFL Films-produced series premieres on Tuesday, August 5 at 9 p.m. ET on HBO and streams on HBO Max.

It’s the first time the Buffalo Bills are featured in Hard Knocks, which will chronicle head coach Sean McDermott and general manager Brandon Beane as they lead their team in the new NFL season.

“Now that you’re inside the building, it’s what you do with the opportunity that matters most,” McDermott says in the trailer.

Cameras will capture veteran and rookie players during training camp at St. John Fisher University in Pittsford, NY. The series will also highlight quarterback Josh Allen, winner of 2024’s NFL Most Valuable Player award.

“Josh Allen is Superman right now,” a commentator says in the preview for the docuseries, with another saying, “I see the best player in the building wearing No. 17.”

Allen is seen in the teaser saying, “We’re going to do whatever we can to bring the Lombardi [trophy] back to Western New York.”

During one of the pep talks to the team, McDermott says, “Resilient, tough, that is Buffalo to a core, baby.”

Later this year, HBO and NFL Films will also premiere the In Season edition of Hard Knocks, which will feature the NFC East division comprising the New York Giants, the Washington Commanders, the Philadelphia Eagles and the Dallas Cowboys.
