Green Bay Packers veteran linebacker Quay Walker and seventh-round pick Micah Robinson both passed their physicals and were activated from the physically unable to perform (PUP) list on Wednesday, per the league’s transaction wire.

Walker is recovering from offseason surgery on his ankle, which he originally hurt during the regular season last year. Robinson has a hamstring injury. Both players reported to training camp last Friday and were placed on the PUP list.

Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst said Walker might need a week or so before he’s able to practice in full, suggesting a ramp up period is required after he missed the offseason workout program. Robinson was in uniform and participating in some capacity at Wednesday’s practice, the first of training camp.

Players can be activated off the PUP list at any time once cleared.

The Packers still have three other players on the PUP list: receiver Christian Watson, rookie linebacker Collin Oliver and rookie offensive lineman John Williams. Watson is recovering from surgery to fix an ACL tear and won’t practice during camp, Oliver has a hamstring injury and is expected to miss a few weeks of training camp, and Williams has a potentially significant back injury. Offensive lineman Elgton Jenkins (back injury) and running back Amar Johnson (hamstring injury) are on the non-football injury lists to open camp.

The Packers return to practice on Thursday morning.
