The Detroit Lions kicked off training camp this week, but it looks like they may not be done adding to the roster.
According to NFL insider Jordan Schultz, the Lions hosted linebacker Kyzir White for a visit on Wednesday.

“Source: The Lions hosted LB Kyzir White for a visit today. One of the top remaining free agents available,” Schultz wrote on X.
White started all 17 games for the Arizona Cardinals in 2024, tallying 137 tackles and nine tackles for loss with 39 defensive stops. The 29-year-old has started 73 games since entering the league in 2018 and has posted over 100 tackles in three of the last four seasons.
With Malcolm Rodriguez out until October and Alex Anzalone’s contract situation in an uncertain spot, adding another linebacker to the roster would be a logical move from general manager Brad Holmes.
White could serve as a starter next to Jack Campbell if needed, but the veteran defender also has the versatility to play multiple positions on the defense.

Signing White for cheap at this stage of the offseason would be an excellent acquisition by the Lions.
