The Atlanta Falcons and Pittsburgh Steelers will become on Thursday the final NFL teams to hold their first practice of training camp in preparation for the 2025 season.

The 32 NFL teams have 84 former Alabama players on their training-camp rosters, including 14 who are at an NFL training camp for the first time.

One of the rookies is linebacker Jihaad Campbell, who joined the Philadelphia Eagles in the first round of the NFL Draft on April 24.

The Eagles held their first training-camp practice on Wednesday, and while Campbell was a limited participant, it was the first time since he joined the team that he had done anything beyond individual work.

Campbell had offseason shoulder surgery because a torn labrum, but he avoided having to open training camp on the non-football injury list.

In the 2024 season, 75 former Alabama players appeared in NFL regular-season games. That’s the most players from the same college program to appear in a single season in NFL history.

Twenty-five NFL teams have at least one Alabama alumnus on their rosters and seven do not.

The Philadelphia Eagles with nine have the most former Alabama players. The Houston Texans have six, and the Los Angeles Chargers, Seattle Seahawks and Washington Commanders have five apiece.

The dean of the Alabama alumni in the NFL is Seahawks defensive tackle Jarran Reed, whose 139 regular-season appearances ranks 27th on the Crimson Tide’s all-time NFL list.

Eleven of the other 83 former Alabama players who have appeared in at least 100 NFL regular-season games are in training camps:
