Recognizing the finest high school student-athletes in Arizona, the Fiesta Sports Foundation has announced its 2025 Fiesta Bowl All-State Football and Flag Football Teams. The 50 student-athletes were selected following a vote by a dedicated committee of coaches, media, Arizona Interscholastic Association (AIA) staff and Fiesta Sports Foundation representatives.

The 29 boys and 21 girls will be recognized at the UMB Bank Fiesta Sports Foundation Football Kickoff presented by Fairmont Scottsdale Princess on Friday, August 15. Arizona’s premier college football kickoff event features College Football Hall of Fame quarterback and two-time Super Bowl Champion Jim McMahon as keynote speaker. Dan Bickley, co-host of Arizona Sports 98.7’s Bickley & Marotta, will emcee the event.

“Arizona is quickly becoming a state known for producing high-level collegiate prospects and eventual professional athletes,” said Fiesta Sports Foundation Executive Director & CEO Erik Moses. “With Arizona being recognized as a leader in the growth of girls flag football nationally, it’s clear that the state is home to so much talent. As the Fiesta Sports Foundation continues its commitment to promoting sports across all levels in Arizona, we are proud to recognize our 50 All-State honorees ahead of the 2025 season.”

A total of 13 different schools are represented amongst the 29-player boys All-State Football team. On the flag football team, the 21 honorees are spread amongst 14 different schools.

Last year, in collaboration with the AIA, the Fiesta Sports Foundation unveiled its inaugural Preseason All-State Football Teams. Three members of the 2025 All-State Football Team (Basha’s Noah Roberts and Jake Hildebrand and Liberty’s Hudson Dunn) are repeat honorees, while four members of the 2025 All-State Flag Football Team (Hamilton’s Samaya Taylor-Jenkins, Marana’s Malaysia Roebuck, Red Mountain’s Cadence McCanless, Casa Grande’s Kayla Tacker) are honored for the second consecutive year.

On the girls flag football team, Hamilton High School, the reigning Arizona 6A State Champion, led the way with five All-State selections including Taylor-Jenkins.

Roberts and Hildebrand are two of six representatives from Basha High School, the 2024 Arizona Open Division runner-up, which leads all schools on the boys team. Liberty High School, the two-time defending Arizona Open Division State Champion, and Brophy College Prep placed four players each on the boys team.

“The AIA proudly celebrates the student-athletes honored on the Fiesta Bowl All-State Teams for tackle and flag football,” said AIA Executive Director Dr. Jim Dean. “As football in our state reaches new heights and students seize exceptional opportunities on and off the field, the AIA is thrilled to champion moments that elevate the student-athlete experience.”
