Broncos Wire‘s 90-man offseason roster series continues today with a look at third-year wide receiver A.T. Perry, No. 87.
Before the Broncos: Perry (6-5, 205 pounds) was drafted by the New Orleans Saints in the sixth round (195th overall) of the 2023 NFL draft out of Wake Forest, where he had a historic run as a pass-catcher.

Perry appeared in 10 games with New Orleans in 2023, totaling 12 receptions for 246 yards and four touchdowns. In 2024, Perry initially made the Saints‘ practice squad, but was waived by the New Orleans in October. After being waived, Perry was then signed by the Denver Broncos to their practice squad.
Broncos tenure: Perry was signed late by the Broncos in the 2024 season, spending the remainder of the season on the practice squad. This offseason, Perry has been dealing with an ankle injury and he’s on the physically unable to perform list going into training camp.
Chances to make the 53-man roster: Long shot. Perry is in a crowded wide receiver room fighting for a spot with players like Devaughn Vele, Troy Franklin and Pat Bryant. He’s already facing long odds to make the active roster. Going into camp with a nagging injury probably doesn’t help his chances. Barring an extremely impressive summer, Perry is probably a candidate for the practice squad.
