So far, Cincinnati Bengals training camp has featured a shocking dose of Jermaine Burton positivity. 

One season removed from a rookie year that cast his roster status in doubt, Burton has been nothing but positive in interviews and eye-openingly good on the field. 

Beyond the praise from the likes of Joe Burrow and the new haircut and attitude to go with it, Burton has started to prove the Bengals right in practice.

The latest proof can be found in some of the major highlights he’s been putting up on a nearly daily basis so far. 

And sure, it’s early in training camp. But Burton having a connection with Joe Burrow and starting to live up to some of that on-field play is nothing but a good thing. Many, including the Bengals, argued he was a first-round talent bogged down in the draft stock department by other things. 

Now that it is starting to come true, for now, it improves the depth behind Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins on the roster and gives Burrow another reliable option besides Andre Iosivas.
