Tank Dell already spent his autumn Sundays terrorizing NFL defenses.
Now, he’s even scarier.
The Houston Texans wide receiver unveiled a new tattoo sleeve on his right leg, and it’s horror-themed. Spanning from his thigh to his foot, the art features scary-movie icons like Ghostface, Michael Myers, Chucky, the Joker and more. He got the ink under anesthesia last month.
Dell already had tattoo sleeves on both arms.

The 5-foot-10, 165-pound speedster is currently recovering from a gruesome injury to his left leg. In a Dec. 31 game against the Kansas City Chiefs, he caught a 30-yard touchdown pass from C.J. Stroud but collided with teammate Jared Wayne as he fell to the ground, dislocating his knee and tearing three ligaments.
The 25-year-old Daytona Beach native and graduate of Mainland High School is expected to miss the 2025 season. Texans general manager Nick Caserio said Dell is making progress during his rehab.
“He’s had a good attitude,” Caserio told reporters recently. “He’s been in here, honestly, probably seen him every day. So he’s in good spirits. He’s working hard. So you take it one day at a time, and when he’s ready, he’s ready.”

Before the injury, Dell was striking fear into the hearts of opposing defensive backs. As a rookie in 2023, he hauled in 47 passes for 709 yards and seven touchdowns in 11 games. Last fall, he grabbed 51 catches for 667 yards and three scores across 14 games.

The Texas have made the playoffs in both seasons since selecting Dell out of the University of Houston in the third round of the 2023 NFL Draft.
