After selecting seven players in the 2025 NFL draft, the Denver Broncos reached agreements with 15 undrafted free agents.
Among those UDFAs is Missouri pass rusher Johnny Walker Jr., who totaled 44 tackles (13 behind the line), 9.5 sacks, three forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and one pass breakup with the Tigers last fall.

One year earlier, Walker posted 43 tackles (10 behind the line), 5.0 sacks and three forced fumbles, bringing his 2023-2024 totals to 27 tackles behind the line and 14.5 sacks.
Walker was a 4-3 defensive end in Missouri’s defense, but he is expected to transition to a 3-4 outside linebacker role in defensive coordinator Vance Joseph’s scheme in Denver.
Watch the edge rusher’s highlights from college below:
Walker will join a crowded outside linebacker room with the Broncos that already includes Jonathon Cooper, Nik Bonitto, Jonah Elliss, Dondrea Tillman, Que Robinson (a fourth-round pick in April) and Andrew Farmer.

Walker will face long odds to make the active roster in a tough competition this summer. If he does not end up on the 53-man roster as a rookie, Walker will likely be a top candidate for the practice squad in 2025.
