The New Orleans Saints sixth practice of training camp was relatively light. It was a walk-through with situational work for the Black & Gold as the team focused on recovery after the first padded practice. The team is feeling confident right now and the vibes are good.Last week, tight end Juwan Johnson said the vibes haven’t been this high since 2021 when the Saints started the season 5-2.His teammates echoed the good energy. “I would bring it back to the new faces, new scheme. Everyone is a little bit excited and just through out the energy of the building to go out there and play,” linebacker Pete Werner said.”We talk about the new schedule, new scheme, you know that fires up a player. Obviously, what we’ve done in the past isn’t the way, so any little change is necessary, and I think that fires up the players.”Offensive lineman Taliese Fuaga agrees with the change in vibes this year. “I do really have a feeling that we have a better team chemistry this year. The locker room is closer than ever. Everybody is kind of, you know, buying in. I think we all kind of have a good feel and everybody is kind of locking in with eachother, whether that’s d-line, o-line or whatever,” Fuaga said. The offensive linemen have built team chemistry by having movie nights.
