NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Corey Levin has been around the block in the NFL.
The Chattanooga alum was a sixth-round pick by the Tennessee Titans in 2017. He was with the team for two seasons before spending time with Denver, Chicago, New England and New York. But the Titans brought him back in 2021 and that’s where he’s been ever since. In fact, last season Levin appeared in 10 games as a rotational center, making one start.
So, it’s no surprise that, as starting center Lloyd Cushenberry continues to rehab his Achilles injury, Levin jumped in and is manning the ship with a steady hand.
“I feel pretty good,” said Levin.
“This is my ninth training camp, so I should be where I’m at. I hold myself to a high standard and want to come into the building every day and be a good leader for this team.”
His teammates agree.
“He’s mentally on top of his stuff,” said Titans left guard Peter Skoronski.
“He’s got a great demeanor as a center. Very calm, not too high, not too low. He’s a vet, he’s seen a lot too.”
“He’s stepped up,” said Titans head coach Brian Callahan.
“He’s done a good job managing the line, making the calls, and having guys on the same page. I’ve been really happy with what Corey’s done.”

There is no set timetable for Cushenberry’s return. Levin starting at center in the season-opener in Denver is an absolute possibility. If that happens, the 30-year-old will be ready. And his teammates on the offensive line will have his back.
“I’ve always thought of myself as a glue guy in the locker room,” said Levin.
“Whether I was backing up Ben Jones or Lloyd last year. The roster turns over every year, but I’ve found myself a way to be here. So I think of myself as a guy who brings people together.”
