The Arizona Cardinals have added to their cornerback room following the news of season-ending injuries for Starling Thomas V and Jaden Davis, with the signing of Keni-H Lovely.

Lovely joins Steven Gilmore as the two signings over two days to fill the roster spots of those injuries. He had a tryout for the Cardinals on Wednesday.

Lovely went undrafted in 2023 out of Western Michigan and was a part of the Buffalo Bills’ preseason roster the following year in 2024 before getting cut. From there, he went on to play in the United Football League’s (UFL) Michigan Panthers at the start of 2025.

In nine games for Michigan in the UFL, Lovely had 26 tackles and an interception. Across five seasons at the collegiate level for Western Michigan, Lovely picked off six passes with 109 tackles and 10 passes defensed.

Arizona already suffered a season-ending injury at corner with veteran Sean Murphy-Bunting, putting even more reliance on a young group led by third-year pro Garrett Williams, Max Melton in his second season and rookie Will Johnson.
