(DENVER) — Broncos quarterback Bo Nix took his time in the pocket but delivered one accurate ball after another during team training camp scrimmage on Tuesday morning.

Denver’s vaunted defense forced Nix to hold onto the ball a little longer than desired, but head coach Sean Payton says he loves the competition and added one of Nix’s specialties is extending plays.

Nix looked extra comfortable throwing to top target and newly extended wide receiver Courtland Sutton.

Sutton says he’s thrilled to continue building rapport with Nix, while adding to his legacy in Denver.

Payton says he’s happy Sutton, a consistent pro on and off the field, secured the contract he deserves.
