While there is already a lot of speculation and mock drafts trying to predict where Arch Manning will go if he enters the NFL Draft after the 2025 season (most say Manning is the No. 1 pick), one NFL owner doesn’t think it’s going to happen. Cleveland Browns owner Jimmy Haslam thinks Manning will play another season at Texas.

If Haslam is correct, the NFL will have to wait another year, while Longhorns fans will rejoice at Manning’s return for 2026. Manning enters his first season as the starting quarterback for the Longhorns after spending two years as Quinn Ewers backup. Ewers is now thriving in Dolphins camp.

“If you know the Manning family, I would bet that — and I don’t know Arch at all, okay — I bet he stays in college two years. I don’t even think that’s worth discussing.” Cleveland Browns owner Jimmy during his Tuesday press conference

There has been speculation the Browns acquisition of an extra 2026 first-round draft pick was with Manning in mind.

“I don’t think it’s a coincidence they acquired a second first-round pick… It was described to me by a billionaire that said, ‘In a perfect world, that guy (Manning) would be in Cleveland next year. And they would do anything to get him,'” ESPN Cleveland’s Tony Rizzo

If Manning plays just one season as the UT starting QB, the Browns would probably be in a good position to draft him. But if he plays a second year, then the NFL Draft order is too far out to predict.
