PHOENIX (AZFamily) — New details have been released as Arizona Cardinals preseason games kick off in just a few days, including a new pregame show hosted by Arizona’s Family and a new color analyst joining the Red Birds.
The Cardinals will kick off three preseason games against the Kansas City Chiefs, Denver Broncos and Las Vegas Raiders. Each game will be broadcast on Arizona’s Family in Phoenix, KOLD News 13 in Tucson and on Arizona’s Family Sports in northern Arizona and Yuma.
If fans want more in-depth action, a 30-minute pregame show will be hosted by Arizona’s Family sports anchor Mark McClune.
On Wednesday, the team announced that former Cardinals linebacker and current ESPN analyst Sam Acho will serve as the TV color analyst alongside play-by-play announcer Dave Pasch and team reporter Dani Sureck.
Acho was drafted by the Cardinals in the fourth round of the 2011 NFL Draft and played four seasons with the team. In his Cardinals career, he recorded 13 sacks and 126 tackles.
The first preseason show airs on Arizona’s Family on Aug. 9 at 4:30 p.m. Kick off against the Kansas City Chiefs is scheduled for 5 p.m.
