QUINCY — The Quincy Family YMCA is ready to kick off its highly anticipated youth flag football league this fall. This non-contact football program is open to boys and girls in first through fourth grade and focuses on teamwork, skill development and fun in a safe and encouraging environment.
The season will run from Sept. 8 through Oct. 13 and has a registration deadline of Aug. 22. Games will be played on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Athletes will be divided into two divisions — a 1st/2nd grade division and a 3rd/4th grade division
The program is designed to introduce young athletes to the fundamentals of football through dynamic drills and games, while fostering sportsmanship and community spirit.
Spots fill quickly, so families are encouraged to register before the deadline to secure a place in this popular program.
