Joe Burrow finally gets some help on the interior offensive line as the Cincinnati Bengals select Dylan Fairchild in the third round of the 2025 NFL Draft.
Fairchild is a former Georgia Bulldogs All-American and has played well the past two seasons in the SEC.
The newest addition to the offensive line only gave up one sack in 787 pass pro reps in 2023 and 2024.
Fairchild earned Second-Team All-American honors last season and is very talented in pass protection, which is important considering Joe Burrow loves throwing the football.
The Bengals will likely have him play left guard, and this summer, tremendous competition will be brought in for the starting position.
Bengals offensive coordinator Dan Pitcher attended the Georgia Pro Day to specifically watch the interior offensive line and became a fan of Fairchild.
This pick feels like a breath of fresh air, something Bengals fans desperately needed after watching this offensive line let Joe Burrow get massacred way too often.
Let’s see what Twitter had to say about Fairchild in Bengals stripes:
Dylan Fairchild’s pass block grade and pressure rate during his last 2 seasons at UGA:
2023: 86.8, 1.8%
2024: 87.0, 1.8%
He only allowed 1 sack in 787 pass block reps in 2 seasons.

Notable on Dylan Fairchild from Dane Brugler. Puts him in the Wyatt Teller mold.
Who played a large role in developing Teller? New OL coach Scott Peters. pic.twitter.com/r7fXjlrdyE

I just can’t see the three Georgia IOL in this draft failing at the next level.
LG Dylan Fairchild, C Jared Wilson, RG Tate Ratledge. I’m a big fan of all three. All are high-end athletes with productive tape in the SEC. Injuries hit in ’24 and affected them, but I’m bullish on…

Dan Pitcher on Fairchild: “He’s a player who can compete right away. And a lot of upside yet to be realized. We’re going to demand it out of him early. We are not waiting. He is going to show up and the demands are going to be clear and we are going to ask him to go do it right…

Dylan Fairchild on if he’s heard from former college teammate and now NFL teammate Amarius Mims:
“Hell yeah, hell yeah. We just got off the phone. That’s my dog right there.”
