Practice was very lively and fun and the defensive and offensive players were going back and forth all practice. Now cameras weren’t allowed to shoot the team drills, but they were very fun, especially at the very end when they had *** 2 minute situation. Jay Kaner led *** very dramatic touchdown drive. It was mirrored in controversy. *** pass interference call in the end zone that led to an untimed down and Jay Canner threw *** touchdown pass to Mason Tipton to end practice. Yeah, Jake did *** nice job. Um, you know, we got into *** couple of goofy situations, some really long yardage situations, and he was able to convert and get us back on track. There may have been. Potential sack there according to Chase, uh, we’ll see, uh, but, uh, we kept the drive going and, uh, you know, it, it was really good work I think for both sides of the football. Uh, any time we we’ll just continue to try and steal as many 2 minute drills as we can because so many games come down to those situations. The situation for Tyler Struck is he struggled in *** 2 minute drill plus through two interceptions in team drills, and that’s something that he has to learn from. Yeah, there’s lessons in every, every experience, certainly interceptions, uh, get, you know, magnified from *** quarterback position, and so, uh, you get to learn from those, um, again. It’s all about how they respond this time of year. It’s, it’s all about, you know, you have ***, have *** bad play, have *** mistake, whatever it may be, how you respond, how you keep moving, and we’ll just continue to grow from that. So after back to back padded practices, the Saints will be off and returned to the practice field Saturday morning in an open practice where the fans will be in attendance and Metari Sharif Aak WDSU News.
