One in, one out.
Such is the way of NFL training camps.
After suffering a few injuries at inside linebacker, the Denver Broncos signed veteran Garret Wallow on Friday to help patch up their depth. To make room for Wallow on the 91-player roster, the Broncos waived cornerback Mario Goodrich, according to KUSA-TV’s Mike Klis.

Goodrich (6-0, 186 pounds)Â spent this spring playing for the UFL’s Birmingham Stallions. He totaled 17 tackles, six pass breakups and three forced fumbles in UFL seven games. Before that, he had stints with the New York Giants (2024) and Philadelphia Eagles (2022-2023). He has five tackles in four NFL appearances, including one start.
Following the Goodrich departure, Denver has 10 cornerbacks remaining on the roster: Pat Surtain, Riley Moss, Jahdae Barron, Ja’Quan McMillian, Kris Abrams-Draine, Damarri Mathis, Reese Taylor, Quinton Newsome, Jaden Robinson and Joshua Pickett.
The Broncos previously placed outside linebacker Johnny Walker on injured reserve and signed UFL pass rusher Garrett Nelson on Thursday. Wallow wears No. 46 and Nelson was given No. 59.
