Pittsburgh Steelers second-year guard Mason McCormick is now engaged.

McCormick’s girlfriend, now fiancée, Addison Hirschman, announced the news on her Instagram.

“One more day waiting and I would’ve dropped down on a knee to propose myself.Mason, we’re getting marrrrrried. Forever and ever together- my dreams coming true. Love u bad,” she wrote in the caption.

The pair met while they were at South Dakota State. Hirschman played on the university’s volleyball team from 2018 to 2022. McCormick was a standout guard for the Jackrabbits, vaulting his way into NFL eyes and becoming the Steelers’ fourth-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

After James Daniels went down in Week 4 with a hand injury, McCormick started the rest of the way at right guard. Throughout the season, he played at right guard, a bit at left guard, and even saw snaps as the team’s sixth offensive lineman.

McCormick is expected to be one of the players who can become a stalwart for the Steelers along their offensive line. That is why they drafted him along with Zach Frazier and Troy Fautanu to help rebuild a once-stagnant group.
