Packers coach Matt LaFleur on health of the team ahead of Family Night
LaFleur said the Aug. 1 practice will be lighter since things will be more competitive during Family Night on Aug. 2.
The Green Bay Packers have a third straight day of practice open to the public on Saturday, Aug. 2, and it’s a big one.
It’s Packers Family Night!
After practicing before crowds of about 1,500 over the last week at Ray Nitschke Field for the start of training camp, players will now get a game day-like atmosphere with over 60,000 fans watching them take part in drills inside Lambeau Field.
A fireworks show will follow the practice.
Family Night marks the team’s ninth of 16 practices on the training camp schedule and is being held one week prior to the Packers‘ first preseason game at Lambeau Field.
