Former Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Levi Wallace has signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
The Steelers play the Jaguars next week in Jacksonville for their first preseason game. Wallace was released by the Denver Broncos in December after spending most of the season with them in 2024.
Wallace’s struggles were on a national stage when he failed to contain former Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy. Instead, Jeudy went off for a career-high 235 yards, much of which was on Wallace.
Wallace was with the Steelers for two seasons. He started his entire first season with the team, but his play experienced a steep drop-off during his second season. Following that, the team benched him for rookie Joey Porter Jr., who played much better than Wallace or their other veteran starter, Patrick Peterson.
He was undrafted coming out of Alabama and signed with the Buffalo Bills. Wallace started right out of the gate for the Bills, but the team let him walk in free agency after four years.
