It was a fun night in the Queen City as the Cincinnati Bengals welcomed fans into Paycor Stadium tonight for a look at one of their training camp practices.

To this point, a lot of questions and looks have been surrounding the defense as Al Golden looks to get his squad prepared for a bounce-back season on that side of the ball. Mix that in with the excitement to see this offense, but on an early show, and you get a sold-out practice on this beautiful Saturday night.

A huge note for tonight as well is that it is the first time we will get a look at Noah Fant in a Bengals uniform. With plenty of expectations surrounding the first round pick, let’s hope it all clicks to give Joe Burrow another weapon in this potent offense.

There is a lot to be excited about this season, folks. That’s why getting these early looks really cements that football season is almost officially back.

Now, let’s take a quick look at how Twitter reacted to some of the key highlights from tonight’s open practice.

It does look like Mike Gesicki tweaked his hamstring. It looks like he did it after making a catch and turning up field for a big gain in team drills. pic.twitter.com/7o6PaDoN7R

Shemar Stewart is having a very strong night. Been very disruptive off the edge against the 2s.

Some notes on Bengals practice today

-Another big day for TJ Slaton, who continues to show some qualities as a pocket pusher. Shemar Stewart popped with the second team.
-Tanner Hudson had a solid number of catches and his best day of camp. Gesicki’s day appeared to be cut…
