Former Jacksonville Jaguars running back D’Ernest Johnson is reportedly signing with the Baltimore Ravens, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Johnson spent two seasons with the Jaguars and had a relatively small role on offense, totaling just 41 carries during that span.

He did, however, average 4.5 yards per rush in 2024 and made the most of his pass-catching opportunities, recording 206 receiving yards in his two seasons with Jacksonville on just 22 receptions, per PFF.

Johnson also played just 55 special teams snaps last season after seeing 142 the year prior.

Johnson was a free agent this offseason, and like every other unrestricted free agent that the Jaguars had, GM James Gladstone let him walk.

The Jaguars’ running back room quickly became crowded with Tank Bigsby and Travis Etienne returning, while Gladstone also added Bhayshul Tuten and LeQuint Allen in the NFL draft.
