Browns claim offensive lineman off waivers from Atlanta

BEREA, Ohio (WKBN) – The Cleveland Browns claimed offensive tackle Kilian Zierer via waivers from Atlanta on Sunday afternoon.

In addition, the team waived fullback Troy Hairston and wide receiver Winston Wright.

Zierer was originally signed by Houston as an undrafted free agent out of Auburn in 2023.

He spent last season on the Texans’ practice squad as part of the International Player Pathway Program. Zierer is a native of Munich, Germany.

The Browns will open the preseason at 7 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 8, on the road against the Carolina Panthers on WYTV-33.
