Jack Nelson drafted by the Atlanta Falcons
GREEN BAY, Wis (WKOW) — Former Wisconsin offensive tackle and Stoughton native Jack Nelson was selected by the Atlanta Falcons in Round 7, pick 218 of the 2025 NFL Draft.Â
The offensive lineman started his career at right guard and eventually transitioned to left tackle for Wisconsin.Â
He was a starter for the Badgers for almost his entire college career.
Nelson was a top prospect coming out of Stoughton High School, including winning the Joe Thomas award as the state’s top senior offensive lineman.
He is the first Badger to be drafted in the 2025 NFL Draft.
