Las Vegas (KSNV) — Qadir Ismail, who is a tight end, hopes to follow in the footsteps of his father and uncle, both of whom played in the NFL. Qadir was originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the Baltimore Ravens (his father’s former team) in 2024, but spent time on their practice squad and missed the remainder of the season due to an injury before joining the Raiders (his uncle’s former team) in 2025. He played six seasons of college football, starting at Villanova as a quarterback before transitioning to wide receiver, and then transferring to Samford to finish his collegiate career as a wide receiver.

While his father and uncle were both known for their speed at the wide receiver position, Qadir is a larger player, standing at 6-foot-7. The Raiders have a strong tight end group, but Qadir’s size and athleticism could be an intriguing upside for the team. He is expected to compete for a spot on the 53-man roster or potentially the practice squad and has shown promise in offseason workouts.
