The Kansas City Chiefs released their first unofficial depth chart on Sunday evening ahead of their first preseason exhibition against the upstart Arizona Cardinals on August 9.

While players and coaches are still sorting out what the final pecking order will be at every position, the initial projection of the Chiefs’ on-field organization should give Kansas City’s fans an idea of what the team’s 53-man roster might look like during the regular season.

Take a look at the Chiefs’ full unofficial depth chart, which was posted to Twitter by veteran sports anchor Harold R. Kuntz of FOX4 News Kansas City:

Among the most surprising developments on the Chiefs’ unofficial depth chart was the placement of Kansas City’s 2023 first-round pick Felix Anudike-Uzomah, who is listed as a third-string defensive end behind rookie pass-rusher Ashton Gillotte.

Additionally, first-year offensive tackle Josh Simmons is slated to be the Chiefs’ starting left tackle, and 2024 second-round pick Kingsley Suamataia is projected to be Kansas City’s starter at left guard, a position that had previously been occupied by veteran blocker Joe Thuney.
