Buffalo Bills second-round defensive tackle T.J. Sanders is coming to a team that definitely wants to improve how it plays against some of the elite offenses in the game. Whether it’s the Kansas City Chiefs or other top teams in the AFC, Buffalo’s defense hasn’t been up to par when it matters most.
That could change with the arrival of the South Carolina product.

Sanders is joining a team that wanted some help for their Pro Bowl tackle Ed Oliver. If this pick works out as planned?
They should get that in droves with Sanders.
Sanders opened up to team reporter Maddy Glab about what he wants to bring to Buffalo’s defense.
“I think I bring a high motor,” Sanders said. “A guy who gets after it every snap. Someone who doesn’t quit on games, quit on plays … it’s a non-stop mentality.
“I just felt alive getting that first sack and after that I just wanted more and more sacks. And getting a scholarship to do that for college, now getting a chance to do that in the NFL, just going out there getting a sack, disrupting players, that’s the joy you get from playing D-line.”

Buffalo’s defense was one of the best in football last season, but they struggled against the run at times, especially during their AFC Title game loss to the Chiefs last January.
The organization is hoping Sanders can be the difference in that group. And with the way he is talking, it sounds like that is exactly what he expects.
