The Miami Dolphins traded away their best tight end, Jonnu Smith, to the Pittsburgh Steelers who was one of their best offensive weapons last season. The Dolphins then traded with the New York Giants for Darren Waller, who was in retirement but said he would only play for the Dolphins. Waller has yet to practice with his new team as he gets back into football shape but he could be seeing the field soon according to Mike McDaniel. While he didn’t specify a date McDaniel basically said it would be sooner rather than later.
