The Chicago Bears got good news on the injury front as tight end Cole Kmet returned to practice on Thursday at Halas Hall, according to various media members.

According to multiple media members, Kmet was spotted leaving the practice field with head trainer Andre Tucker following a 7-on-7 period. CHGO’s Mark Carman noted that Kmet was “visibly upset leaving the field.” He didn’t return to practice.

Kmet’s return to the practice field is a sigh of relief, but also not too big of a surprise considering he’s been remarkably durable. He’s never missed a game in his five-year NFL career, and the hope is that trend continues.
