One of the most exciting matchups could be the battle between the Raiders and Seahawks. The Raiders will be taking their starters on the field, meaning Geno Smith will get his chance to face off against his former team, with former Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll running the show.
Cleveland Browns vs. Carolina Panthers
Shedeur Sanders has been the talk of the town, and he will make his pro debut as the starting quarterback for the Browns. Should he impress on Friday, he may work himself into either the backup role or potentially be able to start in the 2025 season.
Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
The Steelers will be taking on the Jaguars, which can also showcase some first looks. Aaron Rodgers and DK Metcalf could take the field and showcase what their connection will be like, and the Jaguars will also see rookie and Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter play on defense and offense in his pro debut.
