It is quarterback Kyler Murray’s birthday today (Thursday). He is now 28 years old. He received a really cool gift from a fan a day early.
Murray’s birthday fell on the last day of training camp, a day when the Cardinals had a practice that fans could not attend, so one fan came on Wednesday and gave it to Murray.

It was a custom-made chessboard with a birthday card.
He showed it off on Wednesday when he made an appearance on NFL Network’s “The Insiders” with Ian Rapoport.

Murray said in the interview on Wednesday that it was made out of Cardinal decorations.
“I appreciate it,” he said. “It makes it all worth it to have people who truly care about you. Obviously, they don’t have to make me anything for my birthday. They don’t know me personally. It means the world to me that fans care enough to do something that’s selfless and take the time out of their day to make me something like that.

Murray is a big fan of playing chess, so this might actually get used.
