Atlanta hosted four free agents, including LB Jailin Walker and DB Ronnie Harrison.
While the Atlanta Falcons are unlikely to make any roster moves before Friday’s preseason opener, the team worked out four free agents earlier this week. Defensive back Ronnie Harrison along with linebackers Jailin Walker, Chance Campbell and Max Tooley visited with the Falcons on Tuesday.
Harrison, 28, has appeared in 84 games (48 starts) since being selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the third round of the 2018 NFL draft out of Alabama. The former Crimson Tide defensive back has seven career interceptions, 25 passes defended and two pick-sixes over his seven NFL seasons.
Walker went undrafted out of Indiana in 2025 but signed with the Las Vegas Raiders after the draft. The former Hoosier was waived by the Raiders late in July. NFL.com’s Lance Zierlein described Walker as “a linebacker who is built like a safety, but he can cover on third downs and shine on kick-cover teams” in his 2025 scouting profile.
Campbell, 25, was drafted by the Tennessee Titans in the sixth round of the 2022 NFL draft. He has appeared in just four NFL games, recording three tackles (one solo).
Tooley is a former BYU linebacker who went undrafted in 2024. The 27-year-old signed with Houston Texans last season but was later waived and signed to the Minnesota Vikings practice squad. While all four players left Atlanta without a contract, the team recently worked out wide receiver DJ Chark one week before signing him to the roster.
