Kansas City Chiefs heiress Gracie Hunt cheekily addressed the Sydney Sweeney drama on social media amid the Euphoria star’s American Eagle ad scandal.
The blonde bombshell influencer shared the risque remark in the caption of an Instagram post. In the shared photo, Gracie posed in a pair of her branded jeans in a scenic forest area. Additional snaps included gorgeous nature shots along with a photo of a wild bear outside of Gracie’s lodge. “Denim days & dreamy nights,” the caption read. “I like the view and my jeans (not American Eagles – but they are American).”

The social media personality’s joke comes amid Sydney catching heat for starring in a controversial commercial for the apparel brand American Eagle.

For the advert, Sydney paraded in the brand’s denim, seductively boasting her genetic makeup before she jokingly played off the terms “jeans” and “genes.” Sweeney went topless at points for the shoot based around denim wear.
“Genes are passed down from parents to offspring, often determining traits like hair color, personality, and even eye color,” the TV/movie star’s narration said. “My jeans are blue.”
The American Eagle commercial sparked much outrage due to some interpreting it to push Nazi-propraganda, such as eugenics. Being that many have chimed in on the drama surrounding the drama with critiques, Gracie has stepped into the conversation, but with humor.
American Eagle has also entered the conversation, defending the content in the ad.
In a statement, a company representative said, “Sydney Sweeney Has Great Jeans is and always has been about the jeans—her jeans—her story. We’ll continue to celebrate how everyone wears their AE jeans with confidence, their way. Great jeans look good on everyone.”
Despite many commenting on the situation, Sydney hasn’t come outright to give her personal take on it. Nonetheless, she continues to get online hate, along with her German Shepherd pet dog Sully Bear, whom she often posts on Instagram.
“That is a Nazi pet,” one raged online. Meanwhile, a second panned, ‘Swastika Sweeney,” and a third ranted, “Hyper white person pet for sure.”
The Mirror US reported that German Shepherds were often associated with the Nazi regime since the heinous militarized authority would use the canines for various reasons during World War II.
The genocidal dictator of Germany at that time, Adolf Hitler, also owned a few.
