NFL head coach is turning heads with what he just said about Broncos QB Bo Nix originally appeared on A to Z Sports.

What Bo Nix and the Denver Broncos were able to achieve during his rookie season was nothing short of remarkable. They had the odds stacked against them and even took their fair share of blows of disrespect from some media outlets before playing a single snap.

During the offseason, Nix has spent countless hours on his craft, documented by the QB’s own personal YouTube channel. From an optics perspective, Nix looks ready to try and take the league by storm.

Nix and the Broncos had a joint practice with the San Francisco 49ers. As Zac Stevens from DNVR Broncos reported, “Numerous times throughout practice, Nix either stepped up in the pocket when pressure came around the edge or fled the pocket when pressure got through the middle. On the move, Nix was accurate and safe with the ball.”

What’s more, Nix had perhaps the play of the day, which had Broncos fans even more pumped up. The Nix-to-Sutton connection was on full display with Nix evading a sack and connecting with his WR1 for a leaping touchdown. If you weren’t ready to run through a brick wall, now you might be.

49ers Head Coach Kyle Shanahan is a “huge fan”

With Nix having a great camp and looking sharp during the joint practice, it garnered the attention of San Francisco 49ers Head Coach Kyle Shanahan. He surprisingly offered that he was a “huge fan” of Bo Nix. Continuing, “We loved him coming out of college. I thought what he did last year was unbelievable, but anytime you’ve got a quarterback with a big arm who is very mobile, made of the right stuff, extremely tough.”
