The Seattle Seahawks have made another pick to bolster their offensive line. With the No. 234th pick in the 2025 NFL draft, the Seahawks selected Mason Richman, an offensive lineman from Iowa. While Richman was listed as a tackle, Seattle announced him as a guard on their official Twitter accounts.
Richman, similar to fellow late-round draft pick Bryce Cabeldue, will move inside from tackle to guard. With the selection of Richman, this now makes three offensive lineman the Seahawks have taken during the draft. When Seattle decided to not sign any offensive linemen in free agency, they signaled they viewed the draft as their best opportunity to improve up front. With three interior linemen picked, it’s clear the team meant it.
Seattle needs Grey Zabel, Bryce Cabeldue and Mason Richman to hit at the NFL level to help ensure their gamble with Sam Darnold pays off.
