(WBFF) — The Baltimore Ravens announced they have released Justin Tucker amid an NFL investigation into alleged sexual misconduct by the longtime kicker.
Tucker has denied the allegations, calling them “unequivocally false.”

Tucker, the NFL’s all-time most accurate kicker who made 89.1% of his field goals between 2012-2024 for Baltimore, has been accused by 16 different women of inappropriate behavior at some of Baltimore’s most luxurious spas. The alleged incidents took place between 2012 and 2016 and led to Tucker reportedly being banned from two of the establishments.
“Sometimes football decisions are incredibly difficult, and this is one of those instances,” Ravens GM Eric DeCosta said in the statement announcing Tucker’s release. “Justin created many significant and unforgettable moments in Ravens history. His reliability, focus, drive, resilience and extraordinary talent made him one of the league’s best kickers for over a decade. We are grateful for Justin’s many contributions while playing for the Ravens. We sincerely wish him and his family the very best in this next chapter of their lives.”
DeCosta previously called the allegations against Tucker “serious” and “concerning” and said the Ravens would wait for as much information as possible before making a decision on Tucker’s future with the team. NFL spokesperson Brian McCarthy confirmed to our media partners at The Baltimore Sun that the league’s investigation into the allegations remains ongoing.
The Ravens drafted kicker Tyler Loop in the 6th Round of the 2025 NFL Draft, the first time in team history Baltimore selected a kicker (Tucker signed as an undrafted free agent in 2012.)
Tucker was set to enter the second year of a four-year, $24 million contract extension signed in August 2022. He was coming off the worst season of his career, making a career-low 73.3% of his field goal attempts and missing two extra point attempts.
