The Kansas City Chiefs aren’t expected to release their list of inactive players for their preseason Week 1 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals. The preseason slightly differs from the regular season in that players aren’t formally made inactive. They’re not expected to play, either due to injury or otherwise.
The lists are subject to change, and not every player will be listed throughout the preseason.
Here are the players who aren’t expected to play for the Chiefs:

Here are the Cardinals who aren’t expected to play:

During the regular season, inactives are players ruled out of a game and will not participate, even though they are on the active roster. The Chiefs and their opponent must announce the listed inactive players an hour and a half before kickoff. The designation can be due to injury, coaching decisions, or various alternative reasons.
