The New York Jets defense had a stud in the middle of it against the Green Bay Packers.
Defensive tackle Jay Tufele had an excellent first outing with his new team in their 2025 NFL preseason opener. Tufele has been all over the Packers’ backfield and was a problem for their offensive line throughout the first half of action.

To cap it all off, he even scored a touchdown.
The Jets went up 14-3 in Green Bay as pass rusher Leonard Taylor III had a strip-sack on Packers quarterback Malik Willis near their goal line. Tufele ended up scooping it up in the end zone for the score.
