A late riser on NFL Draft boards because of his strong showing at Big 12 Pro Days, Oklahoma State cornerback Korie Black was selected by the New York Giants in the seventh round.

With long arms on his 6-foot-1, 190-pound frame, Black became a popular commodity when he ran an unofficial 4.35-second 40-yard dash with a 39-inch vertical leap on pro day.

Black also has a wealth of experience as a starter, having played over 2,300 college snaps, with more than 1,200 of those in coverage.

He was not among OSU’s invitees to the NFL Scouting Combine, but overcame that obstacle to draw interest from a variety of teams ahead of the draft.
