The Arizona Cardinals played their first preseason game of the year and beat the Kansas City Chiefs 20-17 Saturday night at State Farm Stadium. They came away from the game pretty clean in terms of injuries.

Three players exited the game with injuries, one returned and one player was seen limping in the locker room after the game.

Cardinals injury update in preseason game

During the game, second-year tackle Christian Jones left the game with a knee injury.

Wide receiver Trishton Jackson suffered a thumb injury.

Cornerback Elijah left the game with something but returned.

ESPN’s Josh Weinfuss saw veteran defensive tackle Dalvin Tomlinson limping in the locker room after the game.

Offensive lineman Jon Gaines did not play. He has a thumb injury. Receiver Simi Fehoko, dealing with a quad injury, did not play. Neither did veteran defensive lineman Justin Jones, who sat out with a knee injury.

Rookie defensive lineman Waler Nolen (calf), defensive lineman Bilal Nichols (neck) and outside linebacker BJ Ojulari (knee) remain on PUP and cannot practice yet.
