Say what you want to a certain extent about Dak Prescott, but you can’t say he has low expectations, as Prescott reportedly told Stan Kroenke that he would see the Los Angeles Rams again in the NFC Championship game.

I like Prescott, I think he’s a true starting caliber quarterback in the NFL, and he does a lot for mental health and for others less fortunate them him, and what can I say? I love that. But if I am being real, I am not expecting the Cowboys to get past the Eagles in the NFC East, let alone make the NFC Championship game, but he can prove me wrong.

I hope we do see Dallas and L.A. in the final NFC matchup of the year; it would be fun.

“The Dallas Cowboys quarterback was an observer for the Aug. 9 matchup with the Los Angeles Rams, but he still had time to catch up with some opponents prior to the game.

In fact, Prescott made something of a bold prediction to Rams brass before kickoff: Standing alongside owner Jerry Jones, the passer seemingly told Rams owner Stan Kroenke that they have a date set for January.

“We’ll meet y’all in the NFC championship game,” Prescott seemingly told Kroenke.“

Los Angeles Rams backup quarterback Stetson Bennett IV’s journey through football has been anything but conventional. From walk-on at Georgia, a detour to junior college, and ultimately leading the Bulldogs to back-to-back College Football Playoff national championships, Bennett’s college career was marked by resilience and remarkable success. He remains the only starting quarterback in the CFP era to win two national titles, a feat etched into Georgia lore and celebrated in front of thousands at SoFi Stadium.

Yet, Bennett’s NFL path has proven far more challenging. Selected in the fourth round of the 2023 NFL Draft by the Los Angeles Rams, Bennett’s rookie season was derailed by an injury and a personal matter that sidelined him from active play. He has yet to appear in a regular-season game, largely due to the presence of established veterans Matthew Stafford and Jimmy Garoppolo ahead of him on the depth chart.“

“However, Wallace just put himself in position to once again make the roster, but this time as a safety. Wallace was used all around the field on Saturday, displaying the physicality, vision, closing speed, and tackling skill needed to play safety in the NFL.

Sean McVay commented on Wallace’s play after the game

“[Cornerback] Josh [Wallace] is so versatile. You look at it and Josh, he played corner, he played star,” stated McVay. “Josh is really versatile. He’s got a lot of ability to be able to play in a lot of spots and because of the way that our secondary is shaped where we’ve got some safeties when you look at ‘Tank’ [Safety Jaylen McCollough], [he] can play dime, you look at [Safety] Quentin Lake, [he] can play the nickel position.”
