MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) – Kansas State is ranked 17th in the preseason Associated Press college football poll, which was released Monday morning.
The Wildcats are coming off a 9-4 record in 2024.
They take on the Iowa State Cyclones, ranked 22nd in the preaseason poll, at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, in Dublin, Ireland. The game will be televised on ESPN.

Two other Big 12 teams are ranked in the preseason poll. Arizona State comes in at No. 11, while Texas Tech checks in at No. 23.
The University of Kansas didn’t receive any votes in the preseason poll.
The Jayhawks open their season at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, in Lawarence, where they will take on Fresno State in a game televised by FOX.
