The Tennessee Titans have cut No. 3 quarterback Tim Boyle and brought back quarterback Trevor Siemian.
The decision comes after Boyle had a disastrous performance in the Aug. 9 preseason game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where Boyle had a 0.6 passer rating. He finished the game 4-for-13 passing for 24 yards and two interceptions.
Boyle was behind starter Cam Ward and backup Brandon Allen on the depth chart.
Siemian spent time with the Titans last year, but did not appear in any games. He has not been with another team since.
Siemian has played 40 career games, with 16 starts. He has thrown for 7,751 yards and 44 touchdowns total.
Lloyd Cushenberry III off PUP list
The Titans activated Lloyd Cushenberry III from the Physically Unable to Perform list. The center has been recovering from a torn Achilles suffered in the 2024 season.
Cushenberry signed a four-year, $50 million contract with the Titans last year.
