With multiple running backs either dealing with new injuries or returning from previous injuries, the Green Bay Packers signed running back Tyrion Davis-Price ahead of Tuesday’s training camp practice. Per Bill Huber of SI.com, Davis-Price is in uniform (wearing No. 44) and practicing on Tuesday.
Davis-Price’s representation also announced the signing.

The roster was previously full, so the Packers will need to make a corresponding move. Expect an announcement later Tuesday.
The Packers are easing back running backs MarShawn Lloyd and Emanuel Wilson following lower-body injuries suffered during training camp, and both Jalen White (foot) and Israel Abanikanda (hamstring) are out with new injuries. With a joint practice and preseason game coming up this week, the Packers needed more numbers at running back, and Davis-Price was the team’s roster answer.
The San Francisco 49ers selected Davis-Price in the third round (No. 93 overall) in the 2022 NFL draft. He spent time with the Philadelphia Eagles during the 2024 season and most recently was on the roster of the Tennessee Titans. Davis-Price was waived by the Titans before the start of training camp.
Despite being a third-round pick, Davis-Price has appeared in only eight regular season games over three seasons. He rushed 40 times for 120 yards over seven games with the 49ers and gained seven yards on three carries over one appearance with the Eagles last season. His playing time at the NFL level consists of 82 snaps on offense and 23 on special teams.

While at LSU, Davis-Price set the school record with 287 rushing yards during a win against Florida in 2021.
The only other fully healthy running backs for the Packers right now are Josh Jacobs, who isn’t expected to play against the Colts on Saturday, and veteran Chris Brooks and rookie Amar Johnson.
