We are counting down to the start of the 2025 regular season for the Arizona Cardinals, and that is less than four weeks away. They will open the season on the road against the New Orleans Saints on Sept. 7. That is 25 days away.

As we count down the remaining days of the offseason, let’s look at who has worn that number uniform over the years for the Cardinals.

Cardinals players to wear No. 25

Outside linebacker Zaven Collins has worn No. 25 for a few years. He is a key player on the defense. He led the team with five sacks in 2024, and he is one of the coaches’ favorite players.

LB Zaven Collins (2021-?)

CB De’Vante Bausby, CB Johnathan Joseph (2020)

CB Chris Jones (2018-2019)

CB Tramon Williams (2017)

CB Jerraud Powers (2013-2015)

S Kerry Rhodes (2010-2012)

CB Bryant McFadden (2009)

CB Eric Green (2005-2008)

CB/S Corey Chavous (1998-2001)

WR Eric Blount (1992-1993)

DB Roland Mitchell (1988-1989)

CB/WR Roy Green (1979-1981)

P/S Jerry Norton (1959-1961)

QB/RB Coley McDonough (1944)

OL/LB J.B. Higgins, OL Bill Murphy (1941)

WR Milan Creighton (1936-1937)

RB Mule Dowell (1935-1936)

QB Franke Greene, WR Joe Krejci (1934)

Collins has been solid, but Bakken is clearly the top No. 25 in franchise history. He holds basically every all-time kicking record. Norton is super interesting because he was a good punter and also a good safety. He was a Pro Bowler all three years with the Cardinals and once an All-Pro. In 1960, he led the NFL in punting average and had a league-leading 10 interceptions.
