The Tennessee Titans selected quarterback Cam Ward out of the University of Miami with the first overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft. While he may have won the job in training camp regardless, a season-ending shoulder surgery to the Titans’ starting quarterback from last season, Will Levis, solidified Ward as Tennessee’s starter this season.

Now, Ward is letting the world know just how good he believes the Titans offense can be this season, and he’s not mincing words.

“I think we honestly have the ability to be a top-10 offense,” Ward said, according to Pro Football Talk. “It goes on every guy in that huddle, including myself, to bring the right mindset every day. And us also playing together, I think that’s the biggest thing.

“We always play together. We never point fingers. We’ve just got to always have that mindset that we can be the best offense in the NFL. And then it really just comes with just us caring about each other on the field and off the field. I think a lot of that with translate to the game.”

Fans reacted to Ward’s bold statement on social media.

“Unless he has a Jayden Daniels season, I don’t see it with the roster,” one fan wrote on Twitter.

“The oline has it. It has the pedigree and the coaching required to make a leap. That’s 75% of the battle. The rest is a little more complicated,” someone else added.

“They have a total of three Pro Bowl appearances on offense: One came in 2015, 2 of their once Pro Bowl players are the wrong side of 30 and the other one—Tony Pollard is 28 and made the Pro Bowl in 2022. But yeah but Chig and some fourth round receivers will be the 1999 Rams,” one fan added.

It’ll be interesting to see if Ward and the Titans are as good as he’s expecting this year.
