Cincinnati Bengals defensive lineman BJ Hill had a walking boot on his left foot at Tuesday’s start of Phase 2 spring workouts.
According to Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic, Hill didn’t have that boot on his leg during open locker room sessions a week prior.

For Hill, the boot could be a precautionary thing, especially this time of year. But the Bengals obviously expect big things from him in 2025 after bringing him back in free agency.

A core locker room leader and on-field presence, Hill will play a key role for new coordinator Al Golden while working with sophomores Kris Jenkins Jr. and McKinnley Jackson on the inside of the line, never mind setting the tone for first-round pick Shemar Stewart on the edge.
